[citation][nom]lueszu[/nom]yes! i play it on Home Premium 64 with no problem... except the color issue, but you have to open the display panel and thats it... you can also play Warcraft II & III, diablo II and Half life 1 and even Total Annihilation!!! cool huh?[/citation]

For some odd reason that trick didn't work for me at all (might be an ATI driver thing?) but I did how ever find a little batch file/hack that did the trick and it plays perfectly. The file is called "Starcraftfix" and it works for those who the display properties thing doesn't.

Put that in your SC/BW directory and make a shortcut to it, then click to play (its all in chinese... but it works) Also don't alt tab out till your done playing you can't get back in 🙁 lol

As for buying this collectors edition... hmmm if I won the lotto or had a ton of disposable income. At 100$ for a video game it becomes a luxury item (heck at $60 its getting kinda close....) And I DO want this collectors edition if Blizzard gave it to me I would keep it and treasure it always lol

I'm so tired of this 59.99 trend for PC games. Why do they feel the need to make it like this all of a sudden? Thanks MW2, now everyone knows they can get away with it and every major company will start making their games this price.

[citation][nom]dragoon190[/nom]They have the price... but still no word on the release date? =([/citation]

of course, finding out how much they will milk the consumer is #1 priority 😛 duh...

[citation][nom]werxen[/nom]Or the torrent version costs $0. I'm not paying $50 extra for a games that are overpriced.[/citation]

There is no such thing as an overpriced Blizzard game, you commie.

The God of War III Collector's Edition was only available through preorder in my city at EBGames. I imagine that's the only way anyone around here can get one of the Starcraft Collector's Editions without driving for hours. So, I *would* preorder it, but I'm still not convinced that it's going to be out this year.

I don't see why people complaining about the Special Edition price..$100 is pretty standard. Having a cool pendrive ($15) with sc1 ($20), 180pages artbook ($5), a comic book ($2), an OST cd ($5) = $47 + sc2 game ($60) = TOTAL $107. Correct me if i'm wrong but what im seeing here is some pretty good deal. However, the game itself for $60 is pretty overpriced..

LOL, what? Every Blizzard game is overpriced until it hits $19.99.

It's about $10-20 too expensive for a collector's edition. I've never seen one over $79-89. Hell, the Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition was only like $69.99 on PC.

[citation][nom]maigo[/nom]Yes, $100 is the usual special edition price[/citation]
Then its probaly wrong that last 3 collectors edition I did bought cost me around 65$ (50$ for normal version).

Of course! Yes, those who wish not to spend $60 on an overpriced, outdated game must be commies. They just couldn't be anything else, not even savvy consumers.

Damn that's a little expensive. Perhaps I speak for myself when I say "just play the damn game".

Friend, Blizzard now belongs to Activision. Modern Warfare 2 is from Activision... I really think Activision is the new EA, my hate is being transfered to them.

[citation][nom]nonstoprobot[/nom]The normal game is $60 not $50[/citation]

A normal PC game release at 50$

World of Nolifecraft??

And this is just the first of 3 episodes... you only get the terran campaigns in this package. And no LAN play for you! (unless they've corrected those omissions) I'm not gonna think of buying it until it comes out as the combined battlechest. And then I'm going to make a point to buy it used (and only if it plays LAN)

[citation][nom]theholylancer[/nom]umm the normal PC game is $50, the normal sheeple game is $60[/citation]

It's $50 on amazon. It's $60 elsewhere.

While I think $60 is overpriced, I will buy it anyways. I've been waiting for this game for way too long. No LAN is still going to piss me off though.

^^^^___ you beat me to it, I have to agree, $60 for normal game, whats an extra $30 to obtain a custom USB flash drive, CD, DVD, 2 extra games, and a book and comic book.
