Everyone says how this is over price for a collectors edition compared to certain games. I dont care what anyone says... Blizzard games are done SO WELL. its worth the extra money.
Im a beta tester for the closed beta. I will not be buying this game. I was deeply dissapointed. Starcraft 1 with just slightly better graphics. Maybe this would have been good 5 yrs ago but now there are much better games. I also disagree with the pricing on the standard edition. I'm actually about to leave the beta and delete it all from my SSD

I for one hope you are wrong. If not, there will be an entire nation of disappointed Koreans out there.

I am also a beta tester and the game is amazing. the graphics aren't slightly better. you sir are a bold face liar. also the collectors Ed. comes with a mini thor pet for WoW which will prob sell for what the game is worth
[citation][nom]sublifer[/nom]And this is just the first of 3 episodes... you only get the terran campaigns in this package. And no LAN play for you! (unless they've corrected those omissions) I'm not gonna think of buying it until it comes out as the combined battlechest. And then I'm going to make a point to buy it used (and only if it plays LAN)[/citation]
so, what you're saying is, you won't be playing any StarCraft for at least 3 years
if at all
that's just stupid
[citation][nom]sliem[/nom]$60 for 1/3 of the game, no thanks.I'll wait until it's $40 for all three, $20 even better.I guess I'll wait until 2022 or 2032.[/citation]
you people who keep saying it's "1/3 of a game" are so stupid
did you think Lord Of the Rings was 1/3 of a movie ?

Well, for one, you can't compare a movie to a video game. For two, the Lord of the Rings Trilogy is only 63.96 (blu-ray). That's nearly the price of the first 3rd of SC2. For three, Lord of the Rings was split into 3 parts, but in reality it was one giant movie (they filmed it all at the same time). So yeah, it is 1/3 of a movie. http://www.walmart.com/ip/12511821?sourceid=1500000000000003260390&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=12511821
[citation][nom]regulas[/nom]PC games go for $49 new so besides trying to milk PC gamers by releasing Starcraft II in three parts they now want to charge us kiddie console prices of $59. Not this guy. One day when I can pick up the whole game (all 3 parts) in one box then I will buy it. Until then Blizzard can kiss my arse.[/citation]
Amen, brother! I'm all for a larger package, but breaking it into pieces and charging me the difference isn't doing me any favors.
