On starting up comp. I get message `Hardware monitor has
detected error go to power set-up for details'. I dont
know enough to do this. Can anyone help an old codger???

Try checking your settings in Power Management in the Control Panel.
Click Start-Control Panel-Power Management. This may also appear
because you didn't turn off the computer properly. Make sure you are
clicking Start-Turn Off Computer-Shutdown and wait until it either turns
itself off or says it is ok to turn off the computer.
