Starting PC in Safe Mode Windows XP

How do I erstart my Dell 8250 up in safe mode?It workd once, now all I
get is boot menu and no option to bbot in Safe Mode?

Which boot menu do you mean? The one within Windows XP?

To get the boot menu that *usually* has the safe mode option, try F8 just
after the BIOS has loaded but before Windows starts loading; takes a few
goes to time it just right.
