Hello. I purchased the Sony MDR-XB550AP from Wal-Mart earlier & I'm having an issue with the sound when plugged into the front headphone jack of my computer. There's static & the sound is muffled, but when I hold down the button where the microphone is located, the sound becomes normal like it should sound. Is this a well known issue with these specific model of headphones? I never had this problem when I used my Sony MDR-ZX110 headphones. The headphones do work perfectly when plugged into the rear headphone jack though, so maybe the front headphone jack just doesn't support 4-pole type headphones. That's my guess anyways. I contacted Sony, but didn't get a reply back yet. So if anyone could offer some solutions, that would be awesome. Thank you.
