Question Static noise from soundbar ?

Hello everyone.

I just built my new rig and all went well, but whenever i connect my soundbar to either audio jack it starts making a really high pitched sound.

The soundbar works with anything else, and the jack works with the headphones with no problem.

which cable are you using?
what´s your audio source?
is the plug completely inserted into both ends?

The cable is the one attached to the soundbar, 3,5mm jack
Dunno what to answer to audio source tbh

What model soundbar?
Does it have optical audio input?

Use optical, if available.

I dont think it has, is kinda old and cheap
The model is Trust Asto Soundbar

How close is the soundbar to other electrical components? Possible leakage from other components, monitor, psu?

It shouldnt be that, since i didnt move it at all to test if it worked with my cellphone (which it did).

Only thing that is different between soundbar jack and headphones one is that the first is a TRS and second one TRRS
