Static noise PC

My PC always has a very slight static noise that can get so annoying at times. I built it about 2 months ago and it has always had it, if I turn down my system volume to nothing and mute everything, the static is still there. It is not my headphones, I can hear the static with other headphones too. I have just drowned it out with music before but I would like to have a go at fixing this could anyone help me?

Parts that produce noise: HDDs & fans. Badly isolated cables can also cause the speakers to buzz.

Another possibility: coil whine produced by your GPU.

Could as well be your GPU's coil whine as mentioned by @fliger5.

It's not my computer making the noise it's feedback in my headphones, my GPU is silent and so is my PC pretty much

yep....i moved alkl the speaker's sattelite units away from all the wires on a non conductive wooden shelve
try it, it might help

lol i didn't know that....try to put your case no a non conductive base...just don't let it touch the ground....see if it helps
