Steam Machine Release Date

Does anyone know the closest release date for a Steam Machine? I know the Alienware one comes out in September but nothing else besides that.

"Valve officially revealed Steam Machines including the related SteamOS and Steam Controller during the last week of September 2013, with a tentative release date in mid-2014."

That's as much information that is officially out there. Steam says early-mid 2014.
