Hey, i am using SteelSeries siberia headphones and there is only sound in my left ear but not in my right ear, when i take the left ear pad and move it away and when i reach a certain point then there is sound in my right ear, but it goes away if i move the left ear pad just a little bit.

I don't know the exact version of my headphones but it looks almost exactly like this: http://images17.newegg.com/is/image/newegg/26-249-083-TS?$S300W$

Probably a loose connection with the cable connecting the drivers. Could try and fix it like this

Dont know what version you have but if it's the siberia V2 could be the mic/volume controller on the cable that is the problem. One of the wires could be loose . http://i.imgur.com/YDYgAeu.jpg picture of the sindie of the volume controller. If you have soldering iron could reattach cable easy

Solution

Unfortunately i don't have soldering iron so i can't fix it that way. any other way that this possibly could be fixed?

no that I am aware of, losing audio on 1 driver is almost always a faulty connection or the headphone driver on that side is broken.

Yeah, this is really sad. I loved steelseries, had a steelseries mouse, keyboard, arctis Pro wireless headset. The headset failed after 1.5 years. The EU gets 2 year warranty, US 1 but for $330 not including shipping I have a headset that is dead. My $80 turtle beach lasted for 7 years. Anyways, they wouldn't process an RMA so I diagnosed the problem. It was a loose connection in the right speaker which I feel falls under "workmanship". Anyways, I requested parts or a discount on a new headset but all I got was a 10% coupon and they shut the ticket so that I couldn't respond to it.... I don;t care if it is out of warranty it should have worked longer and I cannot accept the cost vs. use. I feel Burned. It is sad because I really liked Steel Series but unfortunately I can no longer do business with them.
