"an incredibly great computer in a book that you can carry around with you".

I don't know about everyone else, but the books I've read have to be opened. So really, he was talking about a laptop/netbook/ultrabook, and not a tablet. Had he said "an incredibly great computer that's just like a screen you can carry around with you" I would say it was talking about today's tablets.

SO jobs predicted "computers you don't have to sit on a desk, and are portable with no wires!'....Much like anyone else at that time (and far earlier) in the field dreamed of? How does him dreaming it make him different?

I'm sure hes liked the idea of flying cars too. does that mean if he mentioned it. He was the forefront man of predicting them also?

Can have real apple news? Toms is becoming to Apple, what fox news is to Romney.

And a year later 1984 he also predicted with his superbowl commercial, that hed 'break the mold' and stop people from falling for a like mindset, (in which everyone was dressed in all white, staring at a screen of some guy talking as if he was god).

WOW that prediction did a 180 didn't it? he became the man on the screen, and the people he was saving became the 'white is better' like minded people :)

[citation][nom]Razec69[/nom]H I told my father and a friend probably over 6 years ago that cloud computing was the future, people looked at me like I was the retard.[/citation]

I'm in the IT field, and I STILL look at people like they are retarded when they say this...:)

1968, before we even went to the moon, 15 years before Steve Jobs on tape, there was a tablet playing video in 2001 A Space Odyssey
...
Plus "in a book" could also easily be construed as a laptop with it's folding lid, this article is really reaching
