Hi

I have a logitech MX revolution and a microsoft keyboard, both usb.

My mouse performance is getting worse and worse, sticky, freezing up getting almost useless.

Windows 7 picks up a microsoft mouse, which I don't have, and which I uninstall in device manager. I don't know if this is a factor and it keeps getting picked up on start up.

Any pointers on how to troubleshoot this?

Sometimes relocating the USB dongle helps. I try to keep mine away from the monitor and speakers on my desk.
But I must agree that wired is better. I mainly use the wireless when I'm kicked back surfing.

Absolutely. A wireless mouse is prone to lagging and you must deal with the issue of battery life. Only get one if you have some extreme phobia of cords.

i had a similar problem with my cherry wireless mouse.

New batteries helped for about a day then i just chucked it in the bin.

Must just be age as mine was 4 years old.

Bettter with a wired one, you will find it far lighter in your hand and less of a strain.
