Stolen Heirloom Quest

Ok, so I am doing the stolen heirloom quest. I found the scoundrel that
took it, and killed him, and got the loot. But I also apparently SOLD the
things somewhere (or lost them, or whatever). Now I can't seem to finish
the quest.

Any help?

If that's the quest given to you from the lady wandering the fields
outside Caldera, then I shouldn't worry about it. The reward she gives
is utterly trivial i.i.r.c. - the experience and loot you get from the
bandit's cave is much more valuable.

If you really really want it checked off in your journal, you can always
reload and earlier save :-]
