Sorry if this has already been asked, but I couldn't find a solution that even mildly related to my situation.
(Please Bear In Mind I Have No Restore Points Before This Problem Occurred.)
So, I had just plugged in my USB stick to copy some files onto it, when I realized that it wasn't showing up in my computer. Nor was the other external hard-drive that I always have plugged into the back of my PC. This problem has never happened before, so I took a look in device manager to see if anything had changed.
Surely enough, I see 5 "Generic Volume" devices under Storage Volumes. I right click and check their properties, and I see this in the Device Status. "A driver (service) for this device has been disabled. An alternate driver may be providing this functionality. (Code 32)".
I have tried many things like Check Disk, and looking to see if there were any changes to Services, or any other changes to Device Manager, and there were none. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can solve this?
Thank you in advance.
