I'd try and open up Device Manager and see how many drives are listed for your sotrage options. https://psref.lenovo.com/Product/IdeaPad/IdeaPad_Gaming_3_15ARH7 According to this specifications list, your laptop has two available M.2 slots. You should be able to disassemble the laptop using this video; View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbpNo7d35Wc and see which slot is populated. You should include where you're located and your budget for your SSD purchase. In the interim period, I'd try and make sure your laptop's BIOS is updated to the latest version.
