Hi, the first thing I want to say is that im really sorry if my english isn't the best. Im from germany and 16 years old. Because I didnt get helpfully answers in german boards I decided to ask you guys!

A few weeks ago a strange problem appeared for me. My mouse is very jerky and some games are unplayable trough this.

Here is a video where you can recognize the lags very good: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgm9eHOXUig&feature=youtu.be

This appears in every game! But in some games you can sense it more and in others less.

I tried many different things:

- Installed a new Version of Windows 7
- Upgraded to Windows 8
- Used different (older and newer) drivers for my Graphics Card
- Used another Graphics Card
- Reinstalled my mouse drivers
- Used three different mouses:
- My CM Storm Inferno Gaming Mouse
- The same mouse from my friend
- A Logitech G300
- Used another mouse Pad
...

Im sure that its not a problem with any Vsync settings or something like that. Could it still be a software problem? Even if I installed a new version of Windows?

My Specs:

CPU: Intel I5 2500K Kühler: Scythe Mugen 4 SCMG-4000, CPU-Kühler
Mainboard: Gigybyte Z68AP-D3
Ram: 12 GB - Kingston PC3-10600 Arbeitsspeicher 1333 MHz, 240-polig DDR3-RAM Kit

Am very thankful for every answer!

Solution
I was having the same symptoms. Tried a USB Microsoft Mouse, Logitech mouse, and BlueTooth Mouse - nothing helped. I finally found the problem (at least for my system). I was using a USB hub. The mouse was NOT using it but it somehow was conflicting. As soon as I removed the hub from my system, the jerky movements stopped - I hope this helps you!! Good luck.

Solution

Those are answers that im looking for. Because I checked all obvious things something like this is going to be the solution... But I am not using a USB hub. But Thanks anyway!

Try removing every peripheral except your mouse (and keyboard if you're not using a laptop), reboot, and see if the jerky behavior goes away - if so, it confirms that something is conflicting. Then add back each peripheral one by one. Good luck!

I was also looking for a solution to this problem and your tip fix the issue. Thank you very much!
