[SOLVED] Strongest Gpu for a i5 9400 F

What is the strongest GPU that an i5 9400 can handle?I am planning to buy a gtx 2070 but I think my CPU would bottleneck it.
Buying a new CPU is out of the question.

Going to depend on resolution and specific titles.
1080p, personally, I'd suggest a 2060Super as the 'best' pairing, but a 2070/2070Super should be fine.

1440p or better, then a 9400F will pair just fine with any GPU out there today.

Your Cpu + Gtx 1070 Will Work Great Together And There is Almost 0 Bottleneck

i think rtx 2060 does fine ... i am using it with my i5 9400 f .. and am completely satisfied
