How GOOD is Stronghold 2?
Is it good enough to buy now, or wait until it comes down in price with a
pre-patched edition(like they did with Stronghold Deluxe)?
Has anyone had any problems with lower-spec machines(lower than the
highest-recommended spec)?

I didn't like it at all. The economic game seemed very
dull. There was little to no interdependence between the initial
industry you would setup. Pig farmers just gave you pig
meat. Hunters gave you meat. The other farmers did the same
thing.

I had only played a couple of missions into the economic
game before I decided it was far too simple.

Haven't tried the military campaign but with the way the map is
so cramped I decided it wasn't worth it.

I wanted to like it. But I don't.

A game like this begs for a big map so you can make a huge castle, have a
little village down the road, etc etc. The tiny maps they give you don't let
that happen.

Maybe some users will create some huge freebuild maps. That'll help.

It would be hard for any game to be worse than Medieval Lords. If there is
one game I regretted buying in the past few years, it's definitely ML.
