Samsung NP350E5C-A07US - currently has SATA disk, which is extremely slow to boot.
bought a 2.5", SSD(Kingston -- 512GB), and tried to replace it at the same port as the SATA.
when switched on , the boot menu shows up everytime.
under the Boot sub-meu - the name Kingston shows up, but nothing under it to choose.

i chose F10 to Save-And-Exit.
The boot menu comes up again.

I tried a different SATA disk, which too gets stuck at the boot menu.

when i revert back to the old-slow-SATA drive, it does work.

At what point did you install an OS or backup of the old drive to the new drive? {new drives come blank/empty}
There may also be an issue with the sector size if the old drive used 512byte sectors and the new one only supports 4k sectors

the new drive has been cloned from a different laptop.
does that make a difference ?
if so then how can i get the new drive with new OS settings working on the Samsung laptop.
