Hi

I'm buying a GPU for about 75$
I searched ebay and I found 2 gpus and I'm confused.
I'm a gamer and I want it for gaming, R9 270 is a little more powerful but it has 1 GB GDDR5 ram less that GTX 580.

And also I don't know are these ebay ads scam or real, maybe the cards are not working well:sad:

I worked really hard for money so I could get a GPU, please help

Yeah I'm upgrading that too,
also my CPU is i5-3570

Is 12 GB of ram enough? Or I should go for a 16 GB?
I suggest you to buy the r9 270(2013), main reason why is it consume less power, its newer than the gtx 580(2010) and fermi architecture age poorly
If you watch 2 of these benchmark
Gtx 580 vs 1050. You can see that the 580 is loosing to the gtx 1050

Not only that but userbenchmark said that the r9 270 is more power than the gtx 580
https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-580-vs-AMD-R9-270/3150vs3149
So in conclusion, buy a r9 270
The psu requirements is 500w
Remember to buy a psu that has a 8 + 8 pin connector that is above 500w like my psu(antec atom v550)
Now lets talk about the ram. 12gb of ram is good but 16gb of ram is even better, im currently using 16 gb of ram and with 16 gb of ram i am able to web browse like using chrome and play games like fortnite, gta, apex... at the same time, i dont need to close chrome when i play games.

No GPU recommendation can be responsibly given without knowing your exact power supply.

both gpu are power hungry, also it's Fermi not ferum. R9 270 is also based on GCN 1.0 and drain more power since my friend used to have that gpu. That is why i asked him

why dont search for GTX 660, 670, 760? or R7 360, 370?

Also please don't compare it to 1050, it is far far more better on power consumption per performance, since the architechtural difference is big.

There are no "6+6" pin connectors or "8+8" pin connectors. PCIE power connectors are either 6-pin or 6+2-pin. And I wouldn't recommend precisely your PSU either; we have this in our Tier D (cheap, iGPU systems) because it's a low-quality, group-regulated PSU made very cheaply so that it can be priced down for lower-income markets.

My bad once again.

I think I would lean twards the 270 if you are looking for some gaming performance. The only real question that I would ask is what are you currently running. If it the integrated graphics on the I5 either of them are going to be a pretty major performance bump. That is really only because 2500 HD graphics were not great even when new. Unfortunately though no matter which card you pick you can't expect really great framerates or ultra settings in new AAA titles at 1080, and at anything above that resolution you will be sub monitor refresh. At the end of the day you are still running a mainstream CPU from 2012 on an older GPU arch.
