I just installed my computer in a fractal design define r5 last night. I was doing some cable management and wanted to reroute the USB 3.0 motherboard cable. I found that I couldn't Disconnect the cable from the motherboard. I was pulling but it seemed locked in place. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if there is a method to removing the cable? I got the impression that something was going to break if I forced it so I didn't want to take the risk. My motherboard is an Asus p8Z77-VLX.

Thanks

Hey buddy I have been in the same situation as you today
You just need to pull it out while you bending it UP a little and it will come easily.
If you pull it straight it's like it's locked, but it you bend it up (I mean bend it in your direction(in you face the motherboard) it's working.

I hoped it helped you.
