Against my better judgment, I did the student upgrade with W7 64-bit instead of a clean install. So far, I haven't had any trouble and actually am a happy customer.

It was total crap as far as support, all they did was send me to Microsoft. Since this was run through Microsoft, you would think that they would try it out before mass release. The stupid executable always came up with an error no matter what type of OS I downloaded it from. Eventually I had given up and got the Microsoft Windows 7 Professional - 64 bit disc from my buddy at a university. I did not need to worry about a product key because that was the only thing that had worked from Digital River. Other than that it wasn't too bad for getting the OS for $29.99.
