So I recently got Far Cry 5 and I'm having some issues with it. Before I start, I know what the problem is, but I'm not sure what is causing it or what the solution is. When I got the game everything was fine. I play at 1080p at 60fps on the high settings and everything was fine other than rare occasional stuttering during the start of the game. However about halfway through the game the stuttering got worse and made the game almost unplayable. The problem is the autosave feature. When the game autosaves it drops my fps from 0 back to 60 for a split second. But here's the catch, whenever the pick up an item the game auto saves. If you play the far cry games, you know what I'm talking about. Imagine playing a game and everytime you pick up something the game freezes? Yeah that's what happening to me. I also know for a fact that this happens to other people too. I've gone across countless forums, reddit posts, steam questions with people seeking help, and lots of those people have very high end systems and much more knowledge than I do. Lots of these posts say that its some sort of storage related issue, that the games taking to long create and store data, and therefore creating lots of lag. Many people suggested to attempt to fix it with instructions or get a ssd. I have a feeling that I should get a ssd as even ubisoft confirmed it to be some driver related issue with the game storing data to often. I've tried everything to fix it, and a ssd is my last resort. Here's a list of what I've tried:

Verified steam files
Tried to enable realtine priorty in task manager (anti cheat dosen't let you)
Updated my driver's
Disabled uplay overlay
Disabled discord overlay
Lowered graphic settings
Overclocked cpu
Overclocked gpu
Added/gave gpu more power
Added/gave cpu more power
Enabled ultimate power mode
Defraged and optimized disk
Optmized windows
Lowerd graphics in gpu settings
Ran cleaners
Made a new game save

I'm not sure what to do know. My last resort is buying a 500gb ssd and doing a fresh install of windows 10. The weirdest part is that all my other games work just fine expect far cry 5. It also feels like everytime I try to fix it it just gets worse.
System specs:

AMD Ryzen 5 2600x 3.60 hz
AMD Radeon rx570 4gb factory oc
8gb 2400 ram
Wester Digital Cavair Blue 1TB 7200 rpm

Yeah I'll look into getting more ram soon. Should I get new ram that's a higher speed, or buy more of what I have know?
Adding ram - if it works - the faster stick will clock down to match the slower stick, which doesn't help your situation as much as it could, due to Ryzen's sensitivity to ram speeds.
You need at least a new 2x 8GB 3200mhz kit.

I know how ram works, and I looked at found a really good set of 16gb 3200mhz ram. Also, like I said, I might be adding a ssd to my build to prevent further issues with loading on games. Here is the ram I might pick: https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Veng...words=16gb+3200mhz+ddr4&qid=1574799478&sr=8-3

I'm also Looking for a ssd and I'm not sure what to pick. Any suggestions?

If you only have a problem when picking up items (the game saving) then it's not related to RAM,if you where that borderline that a simple save would cause the RAM to overfill you would have way more stutters and way more random.
Of course more RAM and an SSD is always a good upgrade to have but don't expect this to be a 100% guarantee of fix,as you said yourself a lot of people with way better rigs than yours have this problem as well.

What else could it be? A cpu bottleneck? GPU bottleneck?
