I've been playing some older games lately, and I've been seeing a lot of stuttering.
My system specs are as follows:
Intel 13600K
Asus Z790-A MB
XFX RX 7900 XT Speedster Merc GPU
64GB DDR4 3600 CL18
Thermaltake Toiughliquid Ultra 360mm AIO
Corsair 1000E 1000W PSU
32" Gigabyte 4k monitir
I've been playing Assassins Creed Black Flag and AC Rogue recently, and I've been getting a lot of stuttering. I look at the stats in the Adrenalin dashboard, and it shows an average FPS of about 44. I know these games are capped at 60, but they are 10 years old, so even with everything maxed out, I should still be hitting 60FPS.
My CPU temps are not getting high when playing these games, usually hanging around 40c.
I can't figure out what the problem is. I don't have this in any other games.
Is this just the game, or is it more likely a hardware problem?
