The last computer I built was back in 2005 and I purchased a Laptop in 2007, other then that I'm not that up to date on computer tech.

Approximate Purchase Date: This week (the closer the better)

Budget Range: $1000 is the absolute maximum

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming (I mostly play Blizzard and various Steam games), Watching movies

Parts Not Required: Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers, OS

Parts Preferences: Most likely AMD and Radeon for value but I have nothing against Intel and nVidia

Overclocking: Maybe down the road

Other than switching the HDD to Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB which would be $5 more at newegg, same price at amazon. It looks to be a solid AMD build.
Edit: same price at newegg too it seems.

Get the combo for the video card though, for Shogun.

Here's a case that has front 3.0 USB ports and a 2.5" SSD cage. Also this case uses 200mm fans which mean slower RPM, more air movement and most of all they aren't near as loud as a smaller fan.
