Sudden D/L speed issue

Something very strange has happened in the past 18 hours. I have been using an ASUS AC68 wifi adapter for my PC. I know, it's not ideal, but I moved my PC and I haven't had the chance to hard-wire it.
Here is my set up.
I am on Google Fiber, so I should be seeing 300-400mb/s up and down. I was seeing this just 24 hours ago.
Now, I am only seeing 12 mb/s down, but I still see 300mb/s up.
I installed the new version of Win 10 yesterday, which includes the creators update.
Just FYI - I have tested all other devices and they are running perfectly, so the issue is either with my PC or my wifi adapter.
It seems strange that all of a sudden, the download speeds are being throttled.
Does anyone know of any applications that may do this via windows update? I have an Nvidia GPU and Intel CPU.

Thanks all!

Hi Scout, I did this already. I've tried just about everything I can think of..nothing makes any sense.

I will certainly check to see if it works on another device. It was just working yesterday, so this is where I can't figure it out. The upload speeds are still blazing fast, but the downloads are being throttled. I went to my google fiber account, ran a speed check and got 10 mb/s. I ran it a few more times consistently back to back and for some reason, it was showing my normal 400 mb/s down. I waited a minuted and tried the test again and it was back to 10. I don't know enough about window programs to know if there is one or a 3rd party app that is doing it, but it's the only thing I can think of. Thanks.

Thanks. It's much more complex than that. I'll need to get Microsoft involved it seems. This is ridiculous.
