Question sudden fps drops in paladins

I've been playing paladins for two months and till yesterday it was running on constant 60fps on my Hp Au003tx laptop with a 60Hz HP external monitor but today the fps is constantly fluctuating and at some moments in-game fps suddenly drops drastically (< 10fps). I've also tried best settings and the lowest settings possible but nothing worked. The fps drop were more or less the same in every setting. Turning off Vsync increases fps for sometime but sudden fps drops(< 10fps) are still there.

The game seems almost unplayable for me

specifications: 8gb ram, 2gb 940MX Nvidia graphic card
All technical details of my system

I also ensured that no major background process is running.

can anyone help me?

Update: fps drop also happens in spawn room and also at the time when actual connection to the server is broken

What are your temps when under load/gaming?
What are your process percentages while under load/gaming?

temps are around 69-74 deg celcius under load . gpu utilization is around 50% but cpu utilization varies drastically from 50% to 99%. Here you can see the fluctutations. Intel Xtreme tuning utility shows that I'm experiencing Thermal throttling. Maybe thats why there are sudden drops in cpu utilization.
