Question Sudden restarts / black screens

Hello,
I am hoping someone has some advice for the below issue I am experiencing.

Specs:
Computer Type: Desktop
GPU: XFX AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Speedster MERC 310 Graphics Card for Gaming - 24GB
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D Processor
Motherboard: MSI AMD MAG X670E TOMAHAWK WIFI AM5 DDR5 ATX Gaming Motherboard
BIOS Version: 1.E0
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 64GB DDR5 6400MHz CL32 Desktop Memory - Black
PSU: CORSAIR RMe Series RM850e Fully Modular Low-Noise ATX Power Supply
Case: CORSAIR iCUE 4000X RGB Mid Tower ATX Gaming PC Case - White
GPU Drivers: 24.12.1
Chipset Drivers: AMD CHIPSET DRIVERS VERSION 6.10.17.152

Description of Original Problem:
Since booting for the first time I had random restarts. Example was after click "install updates" on Windows Update both screens went black and computer automatically restarted. It also totally bricked when left on idle and once 5-10 minutes into playing a game it again restarted automatically.

Background Applications:
Chrome, Spotify, FS Dream Team Installer

Troubleshooting:
I have reinstalled Windows and left it on 12+hrs with no freeze. I was using Spotify, just installed .net framework and just just "install" to install a piece of software and again it bricked and automatically restarted.

On this particular restart the documents folder / downloads folder is missing. I can still access it via C:/ route but if I attempt re-pin it to a location it errors and wont do it due to disk error.

Does anyone have any ideas of a potential culprit? Would appreciate any assistance.

BIOS Version: 1.E0
You have a couple of other BIOS versions pending update. I'd flash to the latest, then clear the CMOS, then see if the issue is alleviated.

Got a link to the ram kit you're working with?

I have reinstalled Windows
Did you recreate your bootable USB installer, to install the OS in offline mode, then manually installing all drivers in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

How are you cooling the processor? Do you have more than one drive hooked up to your build?

BIOS: I have updated the BIOS to the latest stable 1.F0.

Drives: I have 1 SSD and 3 NVMe M.2 drives. Windows is installed on 1 of the NVMe M.2 drives.

I am starting to suspect that maybe one of the drives is faulty or it could be the PSU, as the issue occurs totally randomly. Even trying to recreate the crash/restart is impossible.

that ram kit is designed for Intel platform's, I'd have looked into a ram kit that had AMD's E.X.P.O advertised on it.

I am starting to suspect that maybe one of the drives is faulty or it could be the PSU, as the issue occurs totally randomly. Even trying to recreate the crash/restart is impossible.
Or it could very well be your ram.

You didn't answer the questions about the OS + were all drives connected to the system during the OS install process?

Where I purchased the RAM from confirmed it was compatible and multiple builder website has no issues.

I have a friend that has exact same build and components so we are swapping PSUs to rule it out.

Regarding the drives yes they were connected to the system during install. However, only one was partitioned at the time

Always have all drives disconnected except for the one you intend to install the OS on.

I have a friend that has exact same build and components so we are swapping PSUs to rule it out.

Would you advise changing the RAM then to AMD compatible ones?

The first thing I did when building my B650i Edge WiFi + Ryzen 5 7600 build was hunt down any dual channel ram kit in the market that had AMD's E.X.P.O, my choices were limited but I landed on one that had it advertised on the package and the entire SKU was like for like on the memory QVL except for the last two alphanumeric digits. I did that to make sure my system was stable out of the box. Past that, I can take a sheet of A4 paper and then go old school with fine tuning the build...but I needed system stability so I can work off of the system.

Long story, short, yes I'd do so if I were you. Give the Beta BIOS a shot, clear the CMOS and then see if enabling X.M.P helps your predicament.

I have entered the BIOS and can enable A-XMP profile 1. Is this all I need to do to enable XMP? Or do I need to setup using memory try it?
