Suddenly cant detect any SATA connections

ok, im so confused right now, any help would be greately appreciated.

So my computer just froze one day and when i turned it back on, i got the: DISC READ ERROR, PLEASE INSERT DISK AND PRESS ENTER

So it turns out BIOS isnt detecting any SATA connections, which are:

CD Drive
2 x 1T HDD
1 60GB SSD (what my OS is installed to)

Ive tried switching cables, testing the power cables, only having one SATA connected, but nothing works.

Any advice?

try clearing the CMOS
If there isnt a switch to do that then take the small flat battery out of the motherboard
go have a cup of coffee
and then put it back in
with only the boot drive connected
