Wondering what would be the Ideal Cooler for an Intel 10700 Processor? That is easy to install for a total noob like myself, or is it best to sometime get system to local Micro Center and hopefully carefully so side panel glass doesn't break on way there, and then get finally a proper cooler.

Currently using Arctic Freezer 7X, Before that was Stock LGA 1200

Did try to install a Be Quiet Pure Rock 2 and Failed Miserably
((Those Round things that hold the backplate onto the motherboard, got stuck in the bracket that was suppose to hold the cooler on, and couldn't get the screw to come out, and forgot to take it along to local shop so they could maybe install it properly--ride refused to go back to place live to get the Be Quiet Cooler, so settled on whatever air cooler shop had in stock)) at the time

What case do you have?

What is the MOST you can spend?

There are a lot of perfectly fine coolers, but not all will fit in all cases.

Noctua coolers are among the easiest to mount and good quality also, but a tad expensive.

I have ThermalTake V200 TG RGB Case, CPU Cooler Max limit is 160MM according to specs

And yes i know all won't fit in all cases

Just hopefully if i do attempt #2 to upgrade it myself in the future, it goes better than first try

Budget $100, or i can save a little more and go from there

((hopefully fall weather comes and room cools off more, and things won't run so warm til i get the replacement cooler before next Spring/summer)) Just have to make it thru rest of July and August, and prays September its cooler, so i don't have to rush getting a better cooler

Ok will check out that one, and purchase it soon as possible, then hope i get some peace real life and finally successfully complete my first ever successful cooler install. and have much better temps as well

Ok Can look at the Noctua models as well, and then make decision on which to use, and purchase and hoping for a nice successful install, and then excellent temps finally

As for a long while plan on keeping this Intel 8 Core a while longer, as meets all my needs, despite sometimes have to juggle heat issues, but guess expected for me picking out air flow restrictive intake on case from local shop in 2020, but idiot me saw flashy RGB one on display, and was like i'll take that one.

No front filter, dust cleaned out from front fans as best i can monthly, and all other fans--this front cover not easy to get off at all, but next time gonna be careful and try to clean front fans better a bit
