Suggestion needed: case with a mobo tray

Heya!

I need to replace a "Foxconn Diabolic TH202 RD Red/Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 400W Power Supply - Retail" case with a smaller one. I am looking for a black case, standard ATX mobo (ASUS A8N-E), that is no deeper than 17" (front to back). I have been graced by the almighty motherboard tray in the Foxconn case. That one cost me like $65 with a power supply. Any recommendations for a reasonably priced case with a tray that fits the above requirements? All the ones I see are like $130.

Skip the tray and I can easily recommend a sturdier case that looks great and meets your size requirements.

I am intrigued of course. They tray is not a requirement, but a depth of 16" is needed. Not too sure who designed this desk, but they must have had a POS store bought computer in mind. I'm beginning to think that the deesk needs modification, not my PC.

You could hang the back of your case beyond the back of your desk.

Good suggestions. Here are the issues:

1. a 1 year old curious toddler.
2. a wife that is looking for a neater looking game room.
3. a desk design that has a really small PC cabinet, with a thick back wall and no punch out.

I think I will either try to remove the back wall of the PC cabinet (preferred) , or cut out some type of hole in it.

Now if I could only stop leveling in WoW for a night...
