Hello, I am looking for some suggestions and advice on getting a new monitor in the recent future hope fully able to get a good deal around black friday.

I have replaced every single bit of hardware I use since my first computer except this monitor. This monitor has served me well for long but despite that it is starting to show age not to mention that I've been using it half my life :p

I use my current computer mainly for gaming but more of web browsing. (I play games more on my Xbox360) Some games I play on this computer are: Crysis, Civ 5, Mass Effect, Sims3, and Oblivion. (I play all genres) I am able to play all games on full quality with great FPS. (except for Crysis of course I run that at 35-50 FPS on High) I am looking for a good monitor that will have nice visuals but will not hinder performance by much and over-stress my graphic card. My current monitor is an 1024 x 768 (dimensions unknown) LCD.

My Rig:
CPU:Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 2.66GHz 6MB L2 cache
MOBO: Foxconn G41MXE
Memory: 8gb DDR3 G.Skill 1333
Graphic card: Geforce GT 240 (super overclocked edition) 512MB GDDR5

I really don't know much about monitors but I have looked around and I believe I want something like a 19" or 20" but not sure either to go with 1440x900/1600x900 widescreen or maybe just a 1280x1024 fullscreen either way my budget limit is ~$200 I want good visual but still to run smoothly (I'm fine about lowering quality as I am not an graphics fanatic)

Feel free to post any suggests, buying advice, item/brand recommendation and things of such.
Lastly I am looking for item with the best Price to Performance ratio not just the best monitor for ~$200 I just wish to have the best bang for my buck
