Question Suggestions for my first pc build

I plan to build my first gaming pc with a budget of around $1100 aud and just need some advice and opinions on the pc parts I have picked out so far. I don't plan on doing things such as video editing so mostly for light gaming and for my work (coding). I also plan on installing a CPU cooler later on but will use the stock cooler for now. Thanks!

Hey there,

That's a pretty solid 1080p 60-120hz/FPS gaming.

I'd prob suggest going with a stronger PSU, something like a Corsair RMX650w/ It comes with a 7 year warranty, and is made with quality parts to last you from build to build.

Everything else looks good.

My concern would be to verify what BIOS that B550 board is on. I don't believe it supports BIOS flash from only mobo. Might be a good idea to ask the seller if they know how new or old stock this board is. Other than that, I agree with @Roland Of Gilead . This should be a very strong 1080 and good mid setting 1440 gamer.

This gives you an upgrade path to a faster Alder lake or Raptor CPU lake in the future. The R5 5600 on AM4 is a dead platform in terms of future upgrades.
