[SOLVED] Suitable psu for possible gpu

Hi i've recently started building my first pc but haven't bought the graphics card yet

I was originally looking at a 1660ti or rtx 2060 but have seen that the rx 5700 is better bang for buck

I was wondering even thought the rx 5700 should have minimum of a 600w psu will my 550w be able to be used

Yes, they recommend a 600 Watts PSU, but I think you should be fine with that CXM model. As long as you are not pushing the limits of the PC, the power draw isn't going to exceed.

QUALITY of the PSU matters rather than Wattage number alone. You should be fine.

Although AMD reccomends a 600w, Guru 3d reccomends a 500w for a 5700.

Since the cx550 is a decent psu, it should handle a 5700 fine. You don't need to upgrade, but i would suggest a psu upgrade for overclocking.
