Super Bizarre Audio Issue (Possibly Driver Issue?)

Hey guys,

So over the last week or so I've been noticing really strange behavior when it comes to using my media keys to scroll through songs. After about 10 song skips, it's like the button will lock up and scroll through all the songs rapidly. Once it lands on a song, I can't change it, and can only pause and play. Even in closing and reopening the program (usually Spotify but the issue happens with all programs) it just resumes the scrolling thing. A gif of this is below.

My only thought is that it's an audio driver. It's not Spotify, as it happens with all programs controlled by media keys, and I know it's not my keyboard as I've already gone through that whole process with their support team.

Anyone have any ideas or anyone else had this issue before?

How does it sound? When it does this, does it still sound ok? Do you have these problems if you control the media players with a mouse? I'd think about the drivers for the keyboard possibly.

I know this was from a long time ago but I'm still having the issue. It sounds fine for the .1 seconds that I can hear the song. I don't have the problem when I control it with a mouse, but the keyboard does not have drivers. It's the HyperX Alloy FPS. I've contacted HyperX and they say they can't do anything simply because the keyboard is plug and play.
