It's not really a debate, it's just personal preference. I've had the PS3 from the time it came out to a year before the PS4 came out. I played like (very rough estimates) 400 hrs of MW2, 200 hrs of BO, 200hrs of BC2, and like 500 hrs of BF3. I was also really really good at using the controller, I would get on top of the scoreboard 9/10 times because other console players are usually bad at aiming or just unaware, so it was easy, but no matter how good I was, I still felt really uncomfortable using the analog stick. This was until I heard about PC gaming and finally got my own PC. As soon as I got my PC, I bought BF4 and have now played 500 hrs. The first minutes using the mouse I was able to feel comfortable, so thats why I say no matter the price/performance difference, switchign to PC is definitely worth it. Also, for games like Minecraft, Skyrim, GTA, there are thousands of mods and honestly, that is the second biggest reason for gaming on PC. I've played Minecraft for like 3 years but only half of that year was without mods (vanilla minecraft gets extremely repetitive). Anyway, I've stopped playing MC like 2 years ago, but that's just an example. Same goes for other games like GTA, Skyrim, etc.
And once again, the 270 is better than a PS4, also, u say a PS4 is cheaper, but don't u have to pay like $50 per year for online? What a scam, one of the biggest reasons people shouldn't buy the PS4. The system costs $400, 3 years of online, $150 = $550. Compare that to 3 yrs of gaming on my $550 build and you'll see the PC is better. Once the 3 years is over, of course the PC will get slower, but u can still lower the settings, but still with a PS4 ur forced to pay for that online :s
