OK chaps, to replace my dead cpu, ive got it down to two processors, more specifically
this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103773
and this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103272
Conveniently they are both the same price so no problems there.
The winsor has 2mb of l2 cache but is 90nm and 125w! Blimey!
the other one only has 1mb but is 65nm and 89w
Im looking at this from an overclocking perspective, the Windsor may have 2x the memory but produces way more heat, so i wont be able to over clock it nearly as much as the 89w.
So the question is do yall think i can get the 89w to clock higher than the Windsor to make up for the less memory? or is the Windsor a better choice?
