Supported Ram on Motherboard

I was wanting to know what the OC specification meant on the motherboard for the ram. A good example is this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128835

They are all marked OC, except for 2133. So I am wondering, does this mean it only supports ram overclocked to that speed? If I were to buy DDR4 2666MHz would it run at that speed or only 2133? Thanks for the help.

It will run at 2133Mhz by default. You can go in to the bios and set the XMP profile to 2666 or use overclocking settings to get the ram to the 2666 speed.

I see. So if I got 2666MHz ram, I would be able to change it to achieve that speed in the BIOS? Is there a reason the motherboard is set like this by default? Seems kind of odd to me.

it is set at 2133Mhz as all other speeds are considered overclock speeds.
