In the Processes tab of Windows Task Manager, is it
normal to have more than one instance of svchost.exe
running. Right after start-up I have four going.

ASUS w/ XP SP1, Pentium 4 2.4gHz.

Thanks for any input.

It's perfectly normal to have several instances of Svchost.exe
running simultaneously.
