Question Swapped motherboard and PSU, now PC won't POST

Hey! So I recently bought a H110 Foxconn motherboard to replace the old Dell propietary one and connected and placed it all in the new case (I replaced the Dell PSU with a new semi-modular 600W). After a bit of confusion I managed to get it to turn on with all the fans and RGB and everything, but apparently no matter what I do it just will not Post. I've switched power off, reset CMOS switched the RAM, removed USB devices, removed the SSD and the result is still the same. CPU is an i7 7700K with a single stick of 8 GB DDR4 RAM. Everything was working perfectly with the old Dell motherboard and PSU so Idk what to do next.

Got a link to the board? Off the top of my head, you'd need a BIOS update in order for the motherboard to accept a 7th Gen Intel processor on that socket. Out of the box, you're good with 6th Gen Intel processors. I wonder who told you to go buy that H110 motherboard...? Speaking of motherboard's, what's the SKU to your Dell prebuilt? Asking to know what motherboard it came with, from the factory.

600W is the advertised wattage of the unit. You might want to mention the PSU's make and model.

Hi,

I don't have a link to the motherboard or the manual itself but the guy from the store I got it from said it should work out of the box (although he did test it with a 6th gen CPU when I was there). The PC was a Dell Precision Tower 3620, SKU is 5DSKHQ2. The new PSU is an ATX-600W from this brand (I don't remember the name)

I Should note that when the PC booted up at the store the BIOS had the date of ~August 2022 so Idk if it could really be a BIOS update that's needed

I would disconnect all cables that go to the Dell case and test. Dell is weird with little wiring changes they make to keep it Dell or hit the highway.

I haven't had hands on with that exact Dell but many many others.

Most if not all road blocks Dell throws out there are fixable.

Oh sorry for not clarifying, the case I'm using is not the Dell, it's a black ATX case from Segotep. I managed to get all the RGB and fans to work on it (and I assume the front IO as well) but the issue is that the pc won't post.
