hi, i am wondering if anyone could give me some information on changing my z77 mobo to the x99 mobo, i know i need a cpu compatible with the x99 and ddr4 memory, but my main concern is, i know they are both atx form factor, but i noticed the z77 is ( 30.5 cm x 21.8 cm ) and the x99 is (30.5cm x 24.4cm) i have a Aerocool GT-S Black Full Tower Gaming Case, and i noticed that the internal connectors or headers are slightly different on both mobo's and i was wondering if i disconnect the 24 pin and 8 pin and the usb 3 connector out of the p8z77, would i only have to connect those connectors back in the x99 when it is installed, or will i have to add more connectors, i know how to remove the cpu, liquid cooler, and replace it all, i am still learning, but i would want to save a few pound in doing it myself than getting it done by a repair shop, any information would be helpful thankyou

Solution
Those along with the case connectors which is no big deal, if you run into any problems just give a shout, plenty of folks here that can help 😉
thanks but i am wondering what case connectors are, as the computer was built for me, are you referring to the power switch, and the reset switch etc and usb connector and hd audio etc
