Switching from AMD to Intel

The HD 7850 2 GB is a good solid mid range video card...paired with a good FX8320 you would be in great shape.

AMD is a more cost effective solution for you...if you save the money you would spend on the intel components and instead buy a GPU...you could run a FX8320 and upgrade your HD 7850 to a HD 7950...and that will run anything on high/ultra settings.

But then I should sell my CPU and GPU and in my country a lot bigger chance to sell is CPU with mobo. So I'll probably pick up Intel I5 3350P.

So would this PC be a good in gaming performance:

CPU: Intel I5 3350P
GPU: Asus Radeon HD 7850 2 GB
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H (in gigabyte.com it says, that this mobo works with my RAM 1333 Mhz)
RAM: 4 Gb x 2 ?

Maybe I could get better mother board on a similar price?

FX8320 > i5-3350p

You're shooting yourself in the foot. That's not a huge improvement over what you have, and you could upgrade to a drastically better CPU for less money out of pocket. You could sell your CPU easily on ebay or something, and your GPU if you want. Upgrade your CPU to FX8320...it's the best possible situation...short of going to the FX8350. Which is clocked @ 4.0 GHz with a Turbo Core of 4.2 GHz.

If you're looking at the low end i5 CPUs from intel...don't bother upgrading. It's not drastically better than what you have.

Save your money and wait.

Intel has been really solid recently with their products

You had lag with that setup, its quite odd considering I can run BF3 multiplayer albeit on low settings and 1440x900 res without lag that is not PING related, I think what you are trying to say is you want to push the game to maximum stress because you want eye candy but my solution to your problem is a very crude yet efficient one.

Instead of losing money building a new rig, when you press esc there is a options menu with graphics settings, over there if you turn the game down to say high instead of ultra (which really makes no difference texture wise) your FPS may rise 5-10% on that alone, you can then go to the big killer that is MSAA and post processing, ambient occlusions and AF, tone it down to 2/4x MSAA, keep post processing lower, AF to 2x and use SSAO if HBAO is to taxing. If you cannot get 60+ FPS by doing that then I will start to consider things like gremlins, spooks and demons in your system or you are bad and being punished.

I guess what I am trying to say is your decision has seen you throw money down the toilet when I know for fact you can fix your lag issues. On the specs provided I find it hard to believe you are getting unplayable lag when I can run the game happily without hitch on a APU.

I tried to play even on all LOW settings, but I get the same FPS drop and that little lag and when that lag repeats after every 30 seconds it gets annoying.

1] download fraps.
2] Record a 10 minute min/avg/max and time frame variance log.
3] take screen shots of settings, ultra and low at 1080 and 720.
4] Submit them.

It is impossible to have lower or similar FPS at lower settings without there being something fundamentally wrong.

5] Do a Speedtest on your connection and post that too, lets see your ping.

Dude,I had a 6100 with a 7950 HIGHLY OVERCLOCKED and i never bottlenecked that thing,,,Get an aftermarket cooler and overclock your cpu because i know that the fx6100 doesnt lag in bf3 at even ultra settings on a 7950...I switched to an i7 due to i wanted faster video rendering but overclock you cpu first then if it comes down to it grab and 8320 or 8350 leave the 3500p out of the question the only i5 accualy worth it is the 3570k or 3570 or 2500k

Max temp 52C, all setting on medium, all AA turned of, but still in more action scenes I get 45 FPS and lag.

The thing I don't get it, why my GPU usage while playing is only ~70%?

Ok, the thing is that now I could sell my AMD FX-6100 and my motherboard, because one man would like to buy it. So now I need to make a decision. As I mentioned, I'm going to use my PC mostly for gaming and I have Asus Radeon HD 7850 2 Gb (I'm not changing this card). So should i sell only CPU and go for 8320 (I'm selling AMD FX-6100 anyway) or sell my MOBO and current CPU and buy: 1. Intel I5 3350P; 2. Intel I5 3470 (what's the difference between S and without?)? I'm not going to OC my CPU, maybe just a little. So PLEASE, help me to make a decision. Thank you for your help.

FX8320 over a i5-3350p

The only reason to switch to Intel is;

1) you have the extra money to burn. (While shopping for an upcoming upgrade recently, I discovered it would cost me an additional $100 to go Intel over my planned AMD upgrades)

2) Benchmark scores and bragging rights is all or at least THE most important thing to you.

AMD is good enough and is close enough in most things to where there is no practical difference performance wise. The few extra seconds is may take AMD to complete some benchmark test is of no consequence. The fact that AMD consistently comes in cheaper, is just a bonus.

Not to mention, Intel changes their sockets more often, supports older ones for less time, necessitating more frequent upgrades.

I currently have an FX 4100, will be upgrading to an FX 6300 in May. When Steamroller and Excavator come out, chances are good that they will use the exact same socket and I will need at most a BIOS update to move up to them,...

Having the ability to upgrade through four or more CPU generations on the same motherboard is of enormous value to me.

Not to mention, seriously, how often does one change their CPU if your not into bench marking and showing off specs? I know I don't change mine unless it breaks, or there's something better, more efficient to move up to.

The FX 6300 is a step up for me, Bulldozer to Piledriver. When Steamroller comes out, that will be an upgrade from Piledriver and then Excavator etc,...

However, I will not have to change anything else in my system to use them. THAT is the benefit of going AMD. In addition to saving money.
