SWTOR gaming PC (looking for suggestions) 1750$ buget

Title says all looking for computer to run SWTOR on full settings and need suggestions im new and dont know what to really use. To give you some perspective, I run a Q6600 at 3.0 GHz, 4 gigs DDR2 800MHz ram; and two GTX 460 1GB in SLI, 775Mhz clock, 1550Mhz shader. With those I currently run SWTOR maxed out at 1920x1200 with around 40-60fps.

But a lot of that is old technology. GTX 460 1GB are also cheaper nowadays, 2 of those can run you around $320-$400 and will out perform a $500 card.

So to put it simply based on the beta settings available, if you built a system for $1000 you should have no problem playing that game or most others maxed out.

if you want a screaming system i'd go with z68 board, 2500k or 2600k CPU, 8 gb of ram, 120gb SSD SATA III, a 590 GTX, 1200 watt psu, and you can get a nice after market cooler / a small watercooling premade kit.

You should be able to get 4.5ghz easy OC on the 1155 cpu, the video card may seem like a bit much, but I always look toward the future. The 460s are good cards, as stated above, but 590 run almost as good as 2x 580s ($1100 worth of GPUs) for $750. It also leaves room for a 2nd 590 to be added in the future to do quad-sli for another boost of GPU power when you need it

You should be able to get all of what I just said for well within your budget, and run every game on max settings with max AA / AF for at least 2 years+. (And like I said, if 2 or 3 years down the road you find that you need more power, throw in another 590 which will be much cheaper then and you'll be ready to go) Basically it leaves a lot of room for upgrades. If you get 2x 460s, I suspect you wont be happy with it sooner, and when you go to upgrade you'll end up spending more.

With that kind of a budget, you can get a really killer system and it'll last you quite a while without ever having the need to upgrade. And for this system I'd recommend getting a no-maintenance liquid cooler like the Corsair H100 you'll be able to clock the i5 way past 4.5GHz without any efforts. You could also substitute the H100 for a Cooler Master Hyper 212 and a Geforce GTX 580, which ever you'd prefer. Here's what I would recommend:

If you don't know what you're doing and can't google the right guides, I'd suggest going to alienware and spending your corporate dollars there. Spending more than $1000 on an MMO computer is insane.
