Question System Crash With 12GB Ram on B20M Pro-VD

System crashes at Random during gameplay and most times doesn't boot up with both sticks in. (Most of the time I have just the 1 8gb stick in so I can not crash, but whenever I put the 4gb stick inside it crashes eventually. They're both DDR4, at least 2100mhz, and from Patriot. Motherboard is a B250M Pro-VD (MSI) and can take up to 32gbs of RAM w/ddr4 slots. other specs: Gtx 970, i3 7320, HDD. Anyone know why i crash??

Mix and match RAM is a gamble. There is no guarantee that any two random RAM sticks will even boot. That is why manufacturers sell matched sets of RAM. They are guaranteed to work as a set.

Unless it is sold as an actual set in the same box, it is a gamble.
