When I'm gaming the game will run perfectly for some time but it varies, sometimes 20 minutes sometimes if I'm lucky a hour or more till eventually the freezing begins, It will freeze completely, the screen will stay on the last frame which it froze and I wont be able to move my mouse or anything however spamming Ctrl-Alt-Del will pull me out of the freeze quicker then if I wait for it to stop by itself. It will freeze for 10-30 seconds then It may return to normal and I can continue to play my game, or it will return to my game and it will keep running okay but lagging on and off/ stuttering/ freezing momentarily every 10 or 30 seconds, till eventually it stops but then 20min- a hour later it happens again or when it unfreezes the game crashes and I'm back at my desktop. I had one occasion where my pc actually crashed showing me a BSOD but I cannot remember the error code... This all started when I bought BO6 and started playing zombies... multiplayer ran fine but Zombies was more prone to this freezing and crashing than any other game. At first I thought this was just a Call of Duty issue because I read many posts saying its a Direct X 12 issue and its been going on with various titles for years now and Call of Duty don't plan on fixing it anytime soon. However I recently started playing Sea Of Thieves with my nephew (because we cannot get through a game of zombies with out the inevitable crashing.) and it started out alright before I began to notice it is happening with this game as well. It wasn't until Sea of Thieves that this freezing occurrence resulted in a BSOD. It only happened once so far. Zombies only froze/ crashed but no BSOD. I did a run on FTB Stoneblock 3 a week ago and I noticed the game would slowly get slower and slower laggier and laggier until eventually I would start to back lag and I would restart my pc and then start up my world again and it would run fine for hours, but rinse and repeat. But this is somewhat normal for heavily modded Minecraft so it wasn't too alarming. It wasn't till SoT that I realized this is a computer wide issue not only BO6 and I need to do something. So this morning I decided to download and install the latest BIOS for my motherboard, reinstall/ update all chipset and video drivers, and delete any unused programs. I thought this might fix the issue. It definitely seemed to have helped since I had a good 2 or 3 hour session on SoT today. But again eventually it began to lag and froze once but no crash. Note that this happened only when I alt tabbed to search something up on google. So anyways my question is, aside from updating all of the driver's on my computer which is already done. What else could be causing this to happen when gaming and what can I do to fix this issue. Please.. Any help would be greatly appreciate. I thank you kindly if you took the time to read this. Sorry for soo much detail maybe not all necessary?

You haven't mentioned anything about task manager or performance monitor. Those would be the things that I'd be monitoring and observing the changes when the problem appears.
