Question System fan not detected in BIOS ?

Ever since i replaced my motherboard my sys fan isnt being detected by my motherboard and runs at 100% speed. It cant be a driver issue since i installed them a few hours ago, other software do detect the fan as normal and i can change the speed of it.

Motherboard: Biostar b250m
Fan: dont really know got it off a friend.

What mobo, and where have you plugged in the fan that does not register? You have TWO issues here. One is that the mobo deos not know this fan is connected if it deos not show its speed. The other is that the fan's speed is uncontrolled. So WHERE it is connected may help us help you.
