Hello everyone, I'm having yet another problem with my Windows 7 Home Premium.
After installing a game, APB Reloaded, my computer has been very slow and unresponsive after each time the game has been closed to the point where I have to manually turn it off and reboot, it also causes Aero to temporarily revert back to basic themes to support the game's process. I researched it's because the game requires a lot of data which slows down background processes running and also stores a lot of its data in SSD which takes a lot of time to erase after the game has been closed. I uninstalled the game and ran several "chkdsk /f /r" and "sfc /scannow".
The first time I ran "sfc /scannow," it would always stop at 59% and say that the requested process could not be finished, so I ran "chkdsk /f /r" using the Command Prompt to fix the issues which took several hours, at last, "sfc /scannow" was able to do a full scan and repair but also mentioned there were files that were corrupt and could not be repaired by the scan alone, so I ran one last "chkdsk /r" and tried the same scan again, the same problem persisted.
So I used this command, "findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt,'" to get the sfcdetails.txt that I can copy and past here if it's needed as information for what files are corrupt and could be repaired
(I can't paste it now since it goes above the character limit here)
Please help me if anyone knows how to solve this issue.
Thank you very much,
