What/how are you going about creating the image?
Software, procedure, where the image is being sent (destination) etc.?

A "system image" with what software and procedure?
And we need a FULL parts list, of everything in this system. Make/model of everything.

no software is involved
Windows 7 OS - correct?
What folders are to be backed up and where is the target/destination for the backed up folders and their respective contents?
The window image presented in Post #10 is showing Windows 7....

Target drive is an external 2 TB HDD - USB connection?
How is the 2 TB External HDD powered - USB from host computer or does the HDD have its' own power supply?
MS has given up on that function so much they didn't even change the labeling for 8/8.1/10/11.The window image presented in Post #10 is showing Windows 7....
