Hey all,
About a few weeks ago my system began freezing completely, in random intervals. From I/O errors, to windows files corruption, I thought the clear problem was a failing hard drive. (The problem persisted after several re-installs of both Windows 7 and Windows Vista.) Although this surprised me, as the Samsung drive was only about a year old, I had read some bad reviews on it, so I replaced it with a 1TB WD drive. This drive worked great for a few weeks. Then, the system started freezing again. This time, though, it was a bit different. The system would freeze, but the mouse would move after about 10 seconds to a different location. It was obviously trying to recover. Eventually, the OS wasn't even able to start. In a last ditch effort, I plugged my HDD into a different SATA port on my Mobo. It worked, and I couldn't believe it. This only lasted for about a week until it froze again today. I did the same thing, and it hasn't frozen... yet. I'm almost positive this is a temporary fix, as it seems like some hardware is malfunctioning.
I refuse to believe that this is another HDD failure, seeing how it is brand new, and it's a WD. I had the mobo RMA'd because it was causing my system to completely power off, without even starting the POSTing process. The PSU was also replaced by the OEM for whatever reason (OEM = CyberpowerPC).
From what I've read in forums and such, it could either be another Mobo issue, or a PSU issue. Any input whatsoever would be fantastic.

PSU: 800 Watts

GPU: Zotac Nvidia GeForce GTX 285
