Since the SSD died on me i have been doing some research and want to go with a intel mother board and processor this time around. I also want to change my case from the Cooler Master HAF 912 to the Cooler Master Storm Stryker (White) A new SSD will be needed for the build. A much needed newer video card. Would like a add a fan controller also.
New to all the intel stuff but i want to be set up so that i dont need to change anything say for the next 2 or 3 yrs. I mainly use the computer for gaming. (World of Warcraft, Skyrim, Star Wars the Old Republic. At times my son uses the computer to do video editing of the games. The monitor i currently have is a old HP that isnt even listed on the part picker list. ( HP2009m ) I would like to upgrade this also. Also i want a primary monitor and at some point i will add a second monitor for use say within the next 6 months.
I am willing to set the budget at 2000 and would like to stay with the higher end parts. Just need to know what parts will work the best with everything. Thanks
