Loving the scalability that has become mainstream with modern gaming. My old system (gave it to my dad) could probably play this, and it was from 2003. There is something really good about that kind of software design, as long as it is truly scalable and the top end is truly awesome. Allowing more access from customers to your product may be something that keeos PC gaming stronger for longer.

Like I have been saying all along. There is no need for killer gaming rigs any more since they make games first for the kiddie consoles and port them to the PC. This tells me my home built Q9650 and GTX 285 will be good for many years to come.

Lower end specs mean I can buy the game for 'poorer' friends without having to buy them a new computer and still get to LAN.
If I can't LAN it, then I might not even buy it.
I think that the spec they've used are just right... one of my bro's and 2 of my friends will be able to just run. That's atleast 3 more copies they will sell. lol
I'm sure with AA and Ani (On trans and gamma too) and using Physics options will give plenty of people a chance to burn out their higher end cards without higher specs too anyways. Unless they don't know how to use them. lol.

Agree about the lower spec average. I have an MSI GT725 laptop with an ATI 4850 512mb and nothing has killed it yet. I can play any game period at full settings 1920x1400 max everthing, and it's nearly a year old already!
